Mumbai: Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate D K Sonawane today extended till November 3, the police custody of South Indian Cooperative Bank (SICB) Chairman Raghavan Sarathy and Vice Chairman Vellathi Thevar Udayar and that of Chief Executive Officer P K Sukhtakar till October 28.

During the inspections by RBI, irregularities and acts of commission and omision by the Chairman and CEO were said to be committed between 1999 and 2004 which led to erosion of deposits to the extent of Rs 104.03 crore.
